Residents in Victoria Falls were on Thursday last week treated to free drama when a man caught his wife red-handed having sex in a car with a boyfriend at a bushy area near Masue Bridge.
Ironically, the sex scene is the same spot where a Zimra boss was was caught naked after being disturbed by an elephant while also having car sex with a married women some months ago.
"The husband got wind that his wife was cheating on him as the boyfriend would come and pick her at home in his absence. He told her he was going to SOuth Africa. I think the woman phoned the boyfriend telling him her husband was away not knowing that she had been trapped," said a source close to the goings on.
The woman, Faith Mathe (28), reportedly accompanied her husband, Mr Mathe, to board a bus to Bulawayo. Little did she know that he had dropped off at the airport and went straight to Emaplankeni where he spent the day monitoring his wife's movements without her noticing.
At around 4pm, the source said, Faith closed the shop and walked to Mkhosana suburb not knowing that her husband and an uncle were trailing her.
"At 6pm, she phoned her boyfriend, Simba Shoko and he came at 7pm. They talked at the gate for about five minutes before she went back indoors while he drove and parked a few houses away as he was waiting for her. The woman came out after about 30 minutes with only a towel wrapped around. The two drove along airport road and turned into the bush near Garikayi houses where the husband caught them red-handed, screaming and groaning in pleasure, busy like rabbits having steamy sex," narrated the source.
When 'dirt hit the fan', Faith stormed out of the vehicle and attempted to flee but that attracted the attention of some residents from nearby houses who quickly gathered to catch a glimpse of what was happening.
By 8pm, a sizeable crowd had gathered while the two lovebirds were detained in two separate cars.
Mathe only had a towel wrapped across her waist in the midst of commotion as the crowd wanted to flog the lovebirds. The boyfriend, Simba Shoko (38), was saved by the police who handcuffed him before taking the two away.
While at the "sex scene", Mathe and Shoko initially gave conflicting statements about their affair. Shoko claimed the affair was three months old and he wasn't aware that he was 'dipping' his anaconda in a married woman's 'sexual tunnel'.
"We have only been in love for three months and she never told me she was married," he claimed. When the crowd threatened to thrash him for lying, he then opened up and revealed that they had been dating for nine solid months.
Mathe shamelessly owned up to the affair.
"He knows that I am married because I told him. I don't know what came over me to do this," she said.
The two cheaters reportedly went for a picnic on 24 December last year and Mathe's husband thought she had visited her monther in Hwange where she only arrived drunk at midnight in the company of Shoko, it emerged.
There was more drama at the Police Base in Chinotimba suburb where scores of people gathered as word spread across the resort town. Shoko's wife, Precious, arrived at the station, and slapped her husband whom she labelled a 'cheat'.
"So this is the bi*ch you have been spending money with. Today you stole my $1 so that you could buy airtime to phone her," she screamed.
The wife said she didn't know that her husband was busy cheating with a married woman.
"I am speechless. I don't even know what to do. I wasn't aware such a thing was happening behind my back as we have been married for 15 years," said Precious Shoko.
The cheating lovers were later released from police custody after paying a fine of $20 each for public nuisance.
